All the Things I would like to Tell My Teacher If Only There Was Enough Time

I will start off on a very positive thing: Language Arts is my favorite subject because it is soooo easy.  School is fun…sort of.  I’d like to talk about books and plays and interests.  I would like to talk about grades and extra credit.   I’d also like to tell about my accomplishments and ask a few questions here and there.  I might have possibly told my life story (probably causing my teacher to fall asleep , seeing as the only interesting thing in it is a divorce).

Here comes the negative.  I’d tell about how I don’t like the 6^th grade “no gum” rule and having to be walked to lunch by a teacher.  Also, my unnerving “potential” to do great in math.  I would tell about how annoying the 7^th and 8^th graders are because they act like they’re supreme ruler or something and how sometimes I’d like to give them a good punch in the nose. 

I would like to tell about goals and dreams and wishes-things that probably won’t come true.  I’d tell about wanting to be noticed and get somewhere in life.  I would tell about my talents-writing, singing, acting, soccer-and the things I wish I could do.  Gymnastics , for example.  Or sports other than soccer.  I’d tell about how I wish I wasn’t so aggravatingly clumsy.    I would also tell how I love books-fictional books- and music.  About how my life is a constant rhythm.  How it impossible for me not to keep time with music-if any is on-in some way.  How I live to a beat, a rhythm, a song.  How I sing all the time.  How hard it is not to burst out in song in school or church or the store. 

I’d tell of how I see the world.  Of my opinions of beauty and intelligence and what is and isn’t right and just.

Jacob's Most recent letter 4-8-08

Hey how are ya'll doin? Im the only one who says that. So it feels pretty good to tell people who understand. My hand is doing much better. Again it never hurts. I did however just got my big split off so now i am able to do a little more with my hand. It does hurt a little bit trying to stretch it out and triying to get it to work properly again. I havent used it for a month!! To address moms and dads questions about my companion. Again his name is Elder Potter, but he was, before the books and no he dosent have a scare. He got hurt in the knee, ten months ago in an accident. He got therapy before he came out but it flared up again since he has been here. He is from Clearfield Utah and just a great guy. We really work well together. He probably will be staying an extra week or two. We both are not really very shure when exacly we will be leaving. But I'll most likely be staying more than him. Luckily he is from the same class (district) so we have known each other since we have been here. Hes going to Eugene Organ so he is just south of me. Again really great guy who knows his doctorine and is very obedient and spiritual. Which is defeinatly what I need cause yall know how much i get in trouble on my own. I found Jared Brooks! it was sweet. He acually sleeps exactly one floor over my head. However we havent been able to talk very much. Well i love you all and sorry Jesse if I got Sydney or Jack in trouble for telling them to kiss Katy with cereral in their mouths. Anyways stop buying everything. I wont be able to recognize any thing when I get home. i know that this is a really long email but i can now use to hands so its kinda nice. General confference was awsome right!!! I loved it. It truely showed that we are being let by servents of God and they are telling us what Christ would be telling us if he was at the pulpit. President Monson is awsome! I truely saw more of Gordon Hickley in him than, i ever saw before. He is truely a prophet of God! Love you all. Jacob P.S. Again the gospel is true. Tell EVERYONE!!!!!!
